When my gamer 2i broke, I wanted to give Haywood a shot and was not disappointed one bit. The customer service team was very responsive to our 20+ email long chat trying to dial in all the specs and the final product came out fantastic. The Haywood team accommodated my request for a UST Mamiya Recoil Smacwrap shaft plus some extra tip trimming and the club feels exactly how I need and want it to feel. It just feels so easy to time and it's very forgiving across the face; I hit a couple balls literally almost off the toe and I only lost 10 yds. I'd definitely say almost handicap or swing speed could play this 2i. 100% would buy again and reccomend to anyone in the driving iron market. Easily my favourite club in the bag and I've had it for half a week.

Very good, a bit head heavy though

Haywood builds great products. The driving iron I purchased is a rocket. The swing weight is really heavy though. Maybe because I built it a half inch long, but other clubs that I have that are longer don’t feel this heavy. Still highly recommend this company

    I crush this monster

I can't hit a three wood well so I got the guys at Haywood to crank this down to 17 degrees, add an extra 1.5" and put an X-stiff shaft in it. I mash this son of a bitch. I've had people ask me what I hit because "it looked like an iron but it went like 270". Then I flex the biceps and tell them it's a driving iron. Great club. Hot face but pretty forgiving on mis-hits. I hit it off the tee on most par 4s and sometimes into par 5s off the fairway. Get this club, swing hard, and knock it by your friends' weak drives.

This thing is a beauty. If you struggle with your driver or need a consistent club, this is it. The ball pops off the club so well, and it just goes straight.

I got this club because I have absolutely zero consistency with my driver, lose balls like crazy with it. I have about 100-103mph club speed with my driver and I hit it about 260-270 on a good drive (which is about 1 in 8). I hit the Haywood driving iron consistently 240 and it hits the fairway almost every time. This club has saved me so many strokes. I still pull out the driver on long par 4s and 5s. But the driving iron might be my new favourite club in my bag.

    Beautiful addition to my bag

I just received my driving iron and I headed to the range before my round. The ball reacted exactly as I wanted it to. The club allows for easy draws or fades on command. Flighting the ball on different trajectories was as simple as moving the ball position. During my round I hit my DI on tight par 4’s and on par 5 off the tee (293 yards).

The DI is beautiful and will have a place in my bag.

I now have a Haywood DI, CB irons and wedges. Such performance and great looks.

Thank you once again for a great product and awesome customer service.
