Haywoodgolf is seeking a Full-Time Golf Club Fitter
& Builder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be both detailed
and motivated with a passion for golf. This candidate will be responsible for
full cycle golf club building + customer fitting sessions at our Haywood HQ.

Responsibilities:

Club Building:

• Club and Shaft Prepping + Epoxy
• Shaft Cutting
• Loft and Lie measurements
• Proper installation of grips and stickers
• Ensure that all clubs are free of blemishes and have been cleaned properly
• Final check that target specs are met
• Maintain detail documentation of the build for future reference
• Assist with any other tasks and functions of the Build Shop including inventory transfers, inventory accounting along with other general tasks/duties that may be required.

Club Fitting:

• 1:1 Customer Fitting Sessions
• Complete fitting process with detailed notes of each session
• Customer communication & Follow up 

The Successful candidate will possess the following:

• Enthusiastic golfer with a passion for the sport
• High Level of customer Service
• Previous sales experience (Not required, but an advantage)
• Previous Club Fitting Experience (Advantage, but right candidate can be trained with previous golf experience)
• GCQuad or Trackman Experience (Advantage)
• Willing to learn new skills and techniques
• Basic Computer Knowledge
• Interest to learn more on golf equipment and technologies

*This role will require travel to global golf shows,
offsite fittings and corporate events. Passport is required.

Compensation:

• The selected candidate will be hired as a full-time salary employee.
• Compensation structure will vary depending on candidate and previous experience. Will be very competitive within the golf industry in Canada.
• 2 Weeks paid vacation

Golf Club Building Tasks and Responsibilities

• Perform high quality club builds
• Eye for detail – Measure twice, cut once mentality
• Works with hand tools and machines to complete club assembly
• Follows verbal and written mechanical instructions such
  as order forms, build sheets, trimming charts etc
• Performs quality checks and participates in problem
  identifications and resolutions
• Able to lift 10-30 pounds throughout the day; stand
  for 6-8 hours per day
• Ability to perform minor mechanical assembly
• Inventory Management
• Packaging & shipping out customer orders

Desired skills and experience:

Success oriented & engaging personality

Passionate about golf and desire to establish and/or advance career in the golf equipment industry

Knowledgeable about golf equipment including components
(shafts, grips etc)

Outgoing, coachable, and customer focused

Compensation:

$22-24 Per Hour to start
( Min 16 up to 32 hours per week)

Haywood Clubs, Apparel and Swag will be included after 3 months of completed work.
