By using one of the most advanced and unique processes available, these irons are 100% CNC milled from a forged block of 1020 carbon steel.
Each iron takes over 200 minutes to be milled to perfection, showcasing every specific detail of it's design while creating one of the most precise club heads on the market. Features include a thin top line, minimal offset, a sharper leading edge with a v-sole for improved turf interaction all combining together to create the ultimate players club.
Bought a set of these, 4-pw. Got them, amazing look, feel, texture, and overall profile is magnificient. Only thing i can compare them to from a feel perspective that comes close is my old mizuno mp-32 irons. Would highly recommend these.
I have been playing a variety of blade/muscleback irons for the past 16 years or so when I saw the Haywood 100's with very little fanfare..I decided to give them a run. Now, after two weeks I felt it was time to provide a deep dive into the RAW 4-PW set. I put the irons through a gauntlet of courses here in MD (Lake Presidential, OakCreek, Country Club of Woodmore and Enterprise GC)..all with very unique layouts and challenging greens... the 100's stood up to the challenge and then some. Visually these are the most uniquely crafted irons I have ever played... Clearly Josh and the team loved geometry: Milled v-shape soles with a grind unlike anything I have ever seen. The top line is small but frames the ball perfectly. The leading edges are RAZOR sharp (that is not a catchy description.. LITERALLY razor sharp) so the turf interaction is like asking your barber to take your full beard down to a 5 o'clock shadow.. clean shallow divots on command! The shape of the heads are compact with a slightly high toe just for the added confidence. The ability to shape shots, launch it high, mid, and low... honestly there is nothing the 100's cant do. Pair that with the RAW battleship grey finish like an old navy aircraft carrier. Soft as butter and incredibly forgiving. The stock pictures do not do them justice nor will my review. At the time I am writing this review, mine is only the 3rd... but trust me, there are big smiles on our face! I am a Haywoodgolf lifer now!
Had to leave a review because I have been blown away by these irons after my first 10 rounds.
Easier to hit than my Muira MB's, an insanely soft and pure feeling on all strikes and every single guy I play with asks about them. Overall they are the best money I have ever spent on a set of irons.
Kudos to Josh and team for dealing with my constant emails and calls to get the perfect setup. Customer service is second to none and I am now a customer for life.
